James I. Williamson
About The Author
James Irl Williamson was born at Ft. Knox, Kentucky in Hardin County, in 1957. He was raised in Greene County Missouri. He graduated with an AB degree in Public Administration and Foreign Service from William Jewell College at Liberty, Missouri and received an Education Administration master’s degree from the University of La Verne, in La Verne, California.
Beginning in the 1980s, James would serve 15 years in technology acting as a sales/marketing manager. Tasked with developing new sales and marketing management structure and services, he also created new market development opportunities. He facilitated trade shows, training seminars and created over 1B in value for those companies.
In the late 1990s James founded Sports Management Professionals, conducting the business of a professional sports franchise. The franchise he founded, the Kansas Cagerz of the United States Basketball League, would operate for nine years in Salina, Kanas. Four Cagerz players would go on to play in the National Basketball Association.
Starting in the early 2000s, James would serve in the education industry, serving as both an administrator and teacher in various public-school districts and prisons in California and Arizona. For over twenty years, he took an active role in the recruitment, hiring and training of many employees to support the vision of the organization he was leading. He built curriculum around instruction. He modeled expected outcomes for students and staff by making himself available through his visibility and caring attitude for all.
This handbook of English Grammar is his first major publication, although he has researched and written several histories, stories, and prose over time.
